Earth Tone Mug
Wheel thrown red stoneware clay mug decorated with refined clay slips called terra sigillata. I created these decorating slips from clay samples that I have foraged in different states over the years, or that were given to me by other potters. I also used slips that I made from commercially processed clays such as Redart (the dark red lower portion with the carved line pattern). The aqua diamonds and interior are glazed.
Holds 14 oz. Approximately 4″ tall, 3″ diameter
Microwave safe. Hand washing recommended.
