The Australian designer Abi Alice joins music and mathematics to create the harmonious and elegant shapes of RESONANCE, Alessi’s Fruit Basket. RESONANCE comes from a sheet of stainless steel 18/10, which is skilfully cut, worked and welded, in order to obtain an easy and refined object, whose shape is harmonious and pleasant. The designer was inspired by music acoustics, which she tried to materialize through wrought steel. Steel hardness seems to transform into a soft and delicate material.
