Flos Toio floor lamp
Designed in 1962 by Achille Castiglioni for Flos, TOIO is a lamp born by an original concept of design. The famous designer, in fact, used as lighting source a car light 300 Watt imported from USA at the beginning of the ’60es. This lamp was born by the matching of industrial objects commonly used, which were taken away from their proper environment and reinvented in a completely new context. A new design object comes out with a clear and essential shape, which combines different materials, such as metal, drawn and rods. Available on Shop Decor in the version Red, TOIO has an adjustable height and thin sheets where the excess cable can be winded up. TOIO is a lamp with a simple and linear design, ideal for those who want to furnish their spaces with an elegant vintage touch.
